Why many 25 liters of soil to make a ton?

I will answer using grams instead of litres because I believe that is the correct unit of measurement for soil

1 tonne = 1000 kilo grams

1 kilogram = 1000 grams

So 1 tonne = 1,000,000 grams

1,000,000 / 25 = 40,000 units of 25 grams
