How can sports be use to promote tourism?

Sport can be used in loads of different ways to promote tourism. Say, for example, if Chelsea played Bayern Munich in the Champions League, you could use that game to get the away fans to see what a great city you have, what star attractions there are and numerous other things to get them to come again and make money. You could also use offers at these weekends so that you can get more people to see the attractions.
