You have your s video hooked up to your TV and in your laptop but the TV is saying it doesnt have a signal what can you do to get this to work?

turn on the secondary monitor. control panel -> display -> settings -> click on the one that's greyed out and select the check mark next to extend my Windows desktop to this monitor
