How fast is the x-15 bell?

The North American X-15 rocket plane is capable of reaching speeds up to approximately Mach 6.7, or around 4,520 miles per hour (7,274 kilometers per hour) at its peak. This speed was achieved during its flight test program in the 1960s, making the X-15 one of the fastest manned aircraft ever built.
