How long does it take for a sim to activate?

If your sim is stuck in bed or will not move here is what you do. Pause it first! You press ctrl-shift-c at the same time to get the cheat box. Then you type in "moveobjects on". You need to be in buy mode to grab your sim. Then set your sim in a spacy spot in a room. Before you continue make sure you type in the cheat "moveobjects off". If your sim has anything red in the needs you need to type in the cheat "maxmotives" everything but the environment will go up. Make sure that you do NOT unpause it before you type in the maxmotives cheat. They will die.
