One time I was taking back this top that had been damaged. There was one more left that I could have exchanged it for, but another woman wanted the same one and the same size and she took it. Luckily the salesperson didn't give up. She went into the new stock room with all the brand-new clothes and looked for a while and found a t-shirt to fit me that was perfect. The best part was that I only had to pay £ 3.58 towards it instead of the sticker price of 29 pounds, because she gave me a refund when it couldn't be exchanged.
