How long does it take for a person to get their mail?

First Class Mail is delivered in three to five days: the exceptions include Hawaii and Alaska. Delivery to outpost postal services by bush pilots can be delayed by the weather for a week or more. Hawaii doesn't suffer the weather as much but the various islands aren't next door to each other and there are some logistical problems.
