Do you need a farm to own a horse?

hi, i own a horse a and before i did i always wanted one. i am only 12 and own a paint mare. i keep it cleen by brushing it and i told my parents that i relized i knew what care had to be done and how much it was going to cost. my grandma bought me the horse and pays for bording and i ride it and buy its food. please add onto this if you own a horse and i will be sure to read about your horse.
