Is havoline deposit shield oil compatible with dexos?

New formulations of Havoline Synthetic Blend and Synthetic 5w30 should meet all DEXOS1 Specifications. Note: There is a large difference between Meeting Specifications and being Compatible.

It looks like Chevron has decided to license Havoline Synthetic 5w30 for DEXOS1 (also, be careful as DEXOS1 and DEXOS2 are different animals)

Anything made late 2011 and all 2012 and newer should be ILSAC GF5 and APISN. These should meet DEXOS1, but may not be licensed officially.
