How many rakats is in zhur?

The Zuhr prayer consists of four rakats (units) of obligatory prayer. It is performed after the sun has passed its zenith and before the Asr prayer. In addition to the four obligatory rakats, many Muslims also perform two or four voluntary rakats before or after the obligatory prayer.
