What type of people join the American Conservative Party?

Most of the people who join the American Conservative Party consider themselves conservatives first, and party affiliation is secondary to that. While no formal study has been undertaken of the membership, it appears that most appear to be middle-class, and largely (though certainly not uniformly) Anglo. Age varies, with some professing to be students, and others senior citizens. Of the leadership, age varies from the late 30's to 50's; the party does not appear to suffer from a surplus of cadavers in leadership positions.

Members uniformly express a deep outrage at the Republican Party, which they consider to have abandoned them.
