What does the lgbtq acronym stands for?

LGBTQ stands for Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual Queer/Questioning and is used among the relevant communities. It often extends to transvestites and asexuals amongst other minor sexuality and gender-identity based groups. However, for simplicity reasons, the acronym is often kept to those five letters. There are various combinations of the letters of the acronym which mean the same thing such as GLBT and whilst there is no official or standardised way for it to be written, LGBTQ (or even just LGBT) is the most popular and accepted form.
