Why do I have dried green boogers when I'm not sick?

Dried green boogers can occur for several reasons, even when you're not sick. They may result from dry air, which can cause mucus to thicken and dry out in your nasal passages. Allergies or irritants, such as dust or smoke, can also lead to increased mucus production that dries out and changes color. Additionally, the presence of certain cells in the mucus can give it a greenish tint, which is not necessarily an indication of illness.
