No he never said anything like that. Dr. Benjamin Spock, born May 2, 1903 and died: March 15, 1998. He was a pediatrician, author and political activist. He wrote Baby and Child Care. He has nothing to do with the television character Mr. Spock of Star Trek, and the names are a coincidence.
