Which country is famous for growing dates?

The top ten exposters of dates are in order: Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Libya, China and Tunisia. But then again, they grow perfrectly edible dates in Arizona too.
