What is Washington D.C. near?

The District of Columbia itself is located near Northern Virginia (it is only about five miles from Arlington, VA) and within easy driving distance of Baltimore, Maryland (about forty-five miles). Washington DC also has two airports and an AMTRAK station, so it is not difficult to get to other cities.
