Not exactly. According to Snopes.com, the plane he was using during his primary campaign was leased from North American Airlines. The American flag on the tail and by the "VIN" number were both North American Airlines logos, as it was a NAA airplane. Once he became the presumtative Democratic nominee he had the plane refurbished to represent his campaign, as is the custom of presidential candidates for the past several years (Bob Dole, George W. Bush, John Kerry, and John McCain). He added his logo on the tail, which is a blue "O" with red and white stripes inside. He also added his slogan, "Change we can believe in." Really, this is a non-issue and anyone who is making it one is just distracting from the real issues.
