What form has capitilism taken hold in modern china?

It would be more accurate to speak about free market reforms in China then use the term capitalism. What the Chinese Communist government has done is to allow private industries to exist and grow. It has allowed State run enterprises to have more autonomy. Probably the most outstanding development in Communist China, has been the establishment of a stock exchange in Shanghai.
