Does melatonin cause skin rash

I have been taking melatonin ultra 3mg for the last week for sleep aid and I developed itchy rashes on both sides of my lower waist, below the belt area, hip area. Feels like poison oak itch. Driving me crazy. Woke me up last two nights. I'm off the stuff now. See what happens in the next 48 hours.
