Using a damp cloth with no chemicals, wipe down all hard surfaces on your mount. Thoroughly, but gently vacuum the fur parts and use a soft-bristled brush to brush the hair back in place. Store your deer in a container that is dust, pest, and light proof. Store the container in an area that is temperature and humidity controlled. Humidity levels should be between 35 percent and 65 percent and temperatures should not freeze or get over around 80 degrees F.
