Where are the regions located in latin America and how are they related to each other?

Latin America is a region spanning all the Spanish, Portuguese and French-speaking countries in the Americas. These include Mexico and Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

These were former colonies of Spain, Portugal and France in such geographical region.
