What did Henry VIII do to be stubborn?

Well, he was in a religion that didn't allow you to get divorced, and he wanted to divorce.

So instead of just sitting back and dealing with it, he created an entire new religion that allowed him to get divorced.

Now I'd say that's pretty stubborn.
