Does an eightteen year old have a right to hit you in your own home?

I don't know for sure about Americal Law, but it is generally the same as UK law.

In the UK, an individual has the right to excersise "reasonable force" to defend themself.

The answer to the question would be no unless they felt threatend with physical violence, and their response was "proportionate"
