The life cycle of a mealworm beetle starts as an egg, which hatches into a larva (mealworm). The larva grows and molts several times before transforming into a pupa. Inside the pupa, the mealworm undergoes metamorphosis and eventually emerges as an adult beetle. The adult beetle then mates and lays eggs, starting the cycle again.
