Can the police get your info even when you had nothing to do with a crime?

If had something to do with a crime then there can always be a pursuit after you. If you have done nothing wrong then there is no worry. But always remember who your friends are and if you have to ask that question when you associate yourself with someone that can put you in a bad position, then they are not worth hanging out with.
