Ignition key is stuck will not move?

There are several things that will cause this.

If the key will turn the car on but not come out of the ignition check to make sure the car is in park and the shifter is fully in position, if the shifter is on the floor make sure the button comes all the way out, if it is on the column make sure it is fully back. This is the most common problem.

If you turn the key and the car will not start check to make sure your battery isn't dead or has a bad connection, i had a Pontiac Grand Prix that did this. fix the battery issue start the car and the key should come out.

If the key will go in the ignition and not move, make sure the steering lock release isn't whats holding it up. Just apply pressure to the steering wheel and turn the key. This activates when the wheel is turn when the key is not in the ignition, just apply pressure the way the wheel was turned to lock it and turn the key, if you're not sure you only got to choices.

One of these methods should do the trick, if not you may have to consult a mechanic to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
