How do you get rid of rust in a truckbed?

The best way is to have it sandblasted. Then after all of the rust is removed, primer needs to be applied and it needs to be repainted with some duragloss plasticoat of some sort. Then if you haul a lot of things , one of those heavy -duty spray-in liners should help protect it. But the rust HAS to be removed first . If not , then what is remaining will continue to eat away at your truck bed.
