1. Reduce cutting of trees 2. Reduce production and use of fuel consuming vehicles 3. Reduce production unnecessary cement and unnecessary construction using cement. 4. Reduce production and use of fire crackers 5. Overall reduce lopsided and misdirected craving for material possessions in the vain hope of satisfaction. 6. Practice yoga and vegetarianism if possible. 7. If nothing is possible then at least remember God [Your truest self] more frequently by remembering His name. This is accepted in most religions and is called Namasmaran.
