At what age shoild a teenage boy start getting pubic hair?

I am a 13 year old boy, and I'm a big kid, 5 11' , but i started getting pubic hair at around age 11. If you try to shave it ( I didn't like it at first and shaved it off for about 3 months) be careful and be sure to shave downwards the first time, then the next day shave upwards.
