Will a claymore mine explode if you shoot it?

Oh, dude, like, for sure! Claymore mines are designed to explode when triggered by a remote or tripwire, not by shooting at them like some action hero wannabe. So, unless you have some fancy remote control or know how to set off a tripwire from a distance, shooting it won't do much except maybe make it angry.
