Is death metal for old people?

Of course NOT! Death metal came about in the 80's, so the oldest death metal fans are probably only in their 40's. And there are plenty of young death metal fans- like me! ...Absolute Rubbish on the age thing. Dude I'm a totally dedicated fan of Extreme Metal, and I'm 51 years old. I'm a vocalist in a band called 1 Foot In the Grave. I've been into Death Metal for over 30 years. How many members of Slayer are older than 40..All of them. There's even a band in Scandinavia with a Monk as a vocalist and he is 63 years old. His band plays supporting such bands as Mayhem etc.The first true Death Metal band was Florida's DEATH whom I first heard in 1984.I also was into Mayhem around the same time, long before Dead(vocalist) killed himself, and Euronymous was murdered. My Drummer even has a piece of Dead's Skull sent to him by Euronymous.
