Noble 22 rimfire slide action model 235 and the chamber does not lockup very good with bullet in chamber what can be done?

Remove screw midway up below fore end (not slide),also remove screw at rear of receiver(this is a wood screw that goes into stock). Remove entire assembly from stock, remove the two screws from the boxy looking lower assembly.this will expose the track that the slide arm fits into.Clean the track with a brush and re lube it. If the rest of the gun is dirty you might as well clean it too. The gun is like A Stevens Visible Loader in that the next cartridge pushes out the spent cartridge and leaves an empty in the chamber to prevent peening of the chamber by dry firing it.When you reload the magazine the cycle begins again.The last empty stays in battery.If your last round is live, you need to flip it out manually! When reassembling lower assembly do not over tighten the two screws as they will strip the threads!
