Why do adults have kids?

Many couples have children because of the love they have for one another and they want to have a family together. They also want to share the love they have with one another with a child that is of both of their making. Having a family is one of the greatest joys in life, we as humans crave companionship and hate being alone. Children show us things through their eyes like no other.
