Where do you get forge skill in World of Warcraft?

In World of Warcraft, a forge is a machine in which you can smelt ore you mine off of veins. You mine the ore, take it to a forge, and smelt the ore into a bar of that substance. You can then sell the bar for money, or if you know blacksmithing, use the bar to make something like a chain vest.
