The old saying 'two wrongs don't make a right' applies in this case. Often girls who are mean have problems of their own that cause them to be nasty to others, but that doesn't mean you have to lower yourself to her level. Jealously is a waste of time and if it rears it's ugly head it can only do harm to both parties involved with no ending in sight. Just ignore the girl who is mean as best you can and she will become discouraged when you don't acknowledge her and will find someone else to bother.
