What are some of the major problems facing young Americans today?

One of major problems facing young Americans today is the higher and higher rate of obesity due to the abundant amount of food, especially fast food. Another problem is that they are growing too fast in terms of physique, but not in their thought, which directly and indirectly causes many social problems such as sex, drug abuse, and violence in schools.
