Is a physical required to be on a confined space rescue team?

In most teams, yes they are required. A full medical examination is needed to ensure that one can perform all of the tasks that a rescue team, specially for the confined spaces, must perform. They must be healthy so that they can carry out tasks in confined spaces that is full of hazards.
