How is greek government the same as Canadian government?

They both implemented Universal Suffrage based societies, i.e. they are both democratic. Prime Minister Stephan Harper is an ELECTED official, as is President Obama and as were the senate of the Greek Goverment. That being said, there was also a Senatorial aspect of all three governments, however there is no Electoral Council in the Canadian Government.
