Who Leaves Brian a food source in the book hatchet?

I'm currently reading this book. So far its really interesting!!

When the air plane that Brian is in crashes, because the pilot has a heart attack Brian has to live in a forest (because that is where the plane crashed). In the forest he finds some berries to eat, he makes a fire, and Brian makes a shelter for him to live. Brian is stuck in a forest for 54 days. Brian also drinks water from the lake near by.
