Why people are against the Illuminati?

Because people love having something to fear. And since the real Illuminati went out of business in 1785 or thereabouts, you don't have to really worry, deep down inside, that Illuminati are really out there endangering you. No living person has ever been proven to be an Illuminatus in a court of law.

It is fun to be scared when you know deep inside that there is no real chance of harm. That is why the most popular carnival rides are the ones that *look* dangerous.
