What are components used together to create a fictional piece?

All fiction is based on some fact therefore fiction is rather like a twist of reality, depending on the kind of fiction, or it could simply be throwing some amount of characters and scenariOS into the world as you know it, things that can and do sometimes happen or did happen once such as war and the poverty. For instance, MARVEL made up the character Wolverine and threw him into a war that did really happen, he just wasn't really there. Pavarna is a book about an Afghan girl who had to pretend to be a young boy to make a living for her family. Parvana does not truly exist but what happened to her in the books does really happen.
