When was the Aviation merit badge created?

Aviation merit badge was created in 1911. It was discontinued in 1941 and replaced by Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, Airplane Design and Airplane Structure merit badges. These were discontinued in 1952 and merged back into Aviation merit badge.
