What is correct terminology?

The noun 'terminology' is a Word for the technical or special terms used in a business, art, science, or special subject.

The proper terminology means to use the appropriate Words for the subject. For example, the noun 'bit' means something specific to a computer programmer and something specific to a horse rider. But, since I don't program computers or ride horses, the noun 'bit' is a general term for a 'small amount' to me.
