When do you switch to a toddler bed?

There are many indications that your child should be switched to a toddler bed. Sometimes it deals with much more then age. Most children make the switch around one and a half and three and a half years old. When the child is around 36 inches tall the child is considered large enough leave the crib behind. Also if your child is climbing out of the crib that indicates that it is time to switch to a toddler bed as well.
