Do people in England celebrate the birth of Jesus?

Yes - Most definitely !! We even have electricity and water and cars and lots of other things things like that.

We call the celebrations 'Christmas' and we usually have a big dinner on the 25th December after which all adults go to sleep in front of the TV and the kids write things on their foreheads with permanent marker pens, lipstick etc. Sometimes we might give the really old folks a haircut while they sleep.

We write letters to Santa Claus asking for very expensive presents and invite hime to come into our homes to deliver the presents and eat mince pies and drink sherry while he is here. We don't let him in the house through the door though - he has to climb in down the chimney. We usually wait until he is half way down and then light the fire - GREAT FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!
