How do you remove a plate glass mirror?

I've read a number of posts on this, since I'm faced with this problem right now. After this research, my conclusion: Call Mr. Tommy. He's done it before and has the right tools. He can do it faster and replace the sheet rock behind it, since it's probably ruined. I know he costs money, but he is considerably cheaper than a visit to the emergency room. Now, where's Mr. Tommy's number . . . .
