Can you bring a butterfly knife in checked luggages going to the US?

All checked luggage is searched. You can no longer lock checked luggage. No matter what kind of lock you put on it, it will be cut off. Nice airelines will bring it to your attention and allow you time to mail it home. So So airliness will bring it to your attention, delay you and let you procede once you trash it. Cranky airlines.........well lets just say wear clean underwear. TO ALL TRAVELLERS: when in doubt about anything that you don't want to discard...........................MAIL IT HOME!!!
