How do you change a fuel pump on a 2000 Buick Regal GS that has a supercharger?

First remove the fuel tank from the car following all applicable safety precautions. Then, remove the locking ring that holds the tank unit in the tank. Lift the unit out of the tank and compare to the new pump you bought. The rest will be obvious.
