What is Loyalty versus truth?

Truth vs. Loyalty is essentially a "right vs. right" ethical dilemma. Its right to tell the truth, but it is also right by societies standards to stay loyal. Sometimes we find ourselves in positions where fulfilling both of those is not possible.
