Is Rafael Nadal a christian

In an interview with Sports Illustrated he said: "I would love to know if God exists. But it's a very difficult thing for me to believe. I don't know". I guess that would make him an Agnostic, although there is some overlap between Atheism and agnosticism in the sense that, in both there is no pragmatic function assumed for the concept of God in real-life situations.
